Bio
Jonas is a third generation filmmaker, following in his Oscar winning grandfathers’ footsteps. He started in audio at Sharpe Sound Studios in Vancouver working his way up to Foley Mixer, then upon returning to Toronto switched streams to picture editing on the Gemini award winning documentary Return To Kandahar. More recently he has worked at TheRealNews.com overseeing the implementation of an all digital workflow from web based sources, HDV production, to finishing/onlining for multimedia broadcast streams. His varied artistic background as a musician and technical whiz-kid gives him a great ability to suit any production's needs in taking their project to a high-quality finish.
